There are three common ingredient in fat burner pills you see at the pharmacy and grocery store. These are l-carnitine, ephedra, and chitosan.
L-carnitine
L-carnitin, or as it’s commonly referred to carnitine, is an amino acid. Metabolism of fat uses carnitine to transport fat into the cells to be oxidized (burnt). This provides your body with energy. Fat cannot penetrate the cell to be utilized unless it’s combined with carnitine, making a crucial role in your body’s function. Supplement companies say that as your body uses carnitine to burn fat, taking more of it will increase the fat that you lose.
Ephedra
Ephedra is broncho-dilating and decongesting. It stimulates the central nervous system, elevates your blood pressure, and increase your heart rate. Because it’s a stimulant, combined with caffeine it promotes unaccelerated weight loss.
Chitosan
While it’s not really considered a fat burner, it’s still a fat trapper or absorber. It’s derived from chitin, a substance found in the shells of insects, crabs, lobsters, and other crustaceans. Chitosan is said to bind fat deposits in the stomach and prevent them from being digested into your body and absorbed. Many people have referred to chitosan as a “fat magnet.”

There are two primary things you need to look for when buying meal replacement supplements. They pertain to what your goal is and the reason for the meal replacement to begin with.
They are:
1. Are you looking to lose weight?
2. Or are you looking to gain weight?
Kind of ironic, but knowing your goals is necessary in choosing the real meal replacement supplements for you.
If you’re looking to lose weight, you need meal replacement supplements that contain low fat and low calories. Myoplex Lite, for example, is a highly popular meal replacement that helps you lose weight. These packets contain about 190 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, with 2 grams or so of sugar.
If your desire is to gain weight, you should give Myoplex Deluxe a try. It has 42 grams or protein, 300 calories, 25 grams of crabs, and almost 30 proteins and vitamins. Also, it comes in many different flavors.

Thermogenic weight loss supplements are in the top 3 fat burning supplements available on the market. Thermogenics are gaining popularity amongst athletes and obese people as a way to speed up their weight loss.
So why are Thermogenic fat burners so popular? Because they work. Thermogenic supplements work by raising the heart rate and body temperature. They contain mild stimulants like caffeine and ephedrine. When you add Thermogenic supplements to an already good diet you will raise your metabolic rate and thus burn more calories on a daily basis. When you have a high metabolic rate you burn more calories all the time, even when you’re sleeping.
Thermogenics are a safe weight loss supplements, if used in the correct dosages. Some athletes and bodybuilders have abused Thermogenic supplements and this has lead to erratic behavior and in extreme cases, dependence.
If you’re trying to lose weight we would recommend you try Thermogenic supplements in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. Thermogenics work the best with a controlled calorie diet, remember, they’re not a magic bullet for weight loss, but they can increase the rate you burn calories and fat.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), is a naturally occurring free fatty acid found mainly in meat and dairy products, in small amounts. CLA was discovered by accident in 1978 by Michael W. Pariza at the University of Wisconsin while looking for mutagen formations in meat during cooking.
CLA is research proven to build muscle, reduce body fat, and induce an optimum cellular environment for improved health!
CLA occurs naturally in foods such as milk, cheese, beef, and lamb as well as many processed foods. One processed food in particular that’s high in CLA is Cheez Wiz. But getting enough CLA from your diet for the preferred benefit would require considerable intake of these types of foods. This is not only impractical, but would also have a seriously negative impact on your metabolism due to the high caloric penalty you would pay.
